This project aims to produce a series of short videos for Instagram, highlighting the crucial role of private efforts in preserving cultural heritage by renovating historic buildings. These videos will feature transformations into hotels, restaurants, and other functional spaces, demonstrating how private initiatives contribute to conserving our shared cultural legacy.

Alexei Vranich, an esteemed archaeologist with extensive experience, will lead this initiative. Vranich has lectured and conducted research at prestigious institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and MIT. He currently holds a permanent position at the University of Warsaw and directs a $470,000 project in the Inca capital of Cusco, near Machu Picchu. His work has also been featured in numerous television programs on the History Channel, Discovery, BBC, and most recently, he was the focus of a National Geographic special.

The videos will highlight and credit the individuals and organizations involved in these complex renovation projects. By showcasing their contributions, the project aims to attract tourism that supports ethical efforts to conserve and present heritage. This approach will celebrate successful renovations and promote a form of tourism that values and supports the preservation of cultural heritage, inspiring further engagement and investment in conserving our historical and cultural treasures.
